GMS Cross Country Meet at Lake Zurich South with Barrington Station Girls Results Boys Results There's a saying that goes, "STRENGTH doesn't come from what you CAN do. It comes from OVERCOMING the things that you once thought you COULDN'T." The girls and boys cross country teams continue to show their strength by consistently overcoming their times and setting new personal records, achievements, and goals. They have accomplished so much over the season and are ready to finish strong! The girls and boys teams came in 2nd at the Lake Zurich South meet with Barrington Station. GMS Cross Country Meet at Hawthorn South with Lake Zurich South Girls Results Girls Team Results Boys Results Boys Team Results Another beautiful sunny day shined on the Grayslake Panthers as they went against Hawthorn South and Lake Zurich South. The panthers blazed in the heat as their fiery season continues to radiate with great sportsmanship and teamwork. Although the boys came in 3rd, their tenacity beamed as they worked together in packs to inspire each other while the girls cheered from the sidelines. The girls brilliance beamed on the course, coming in 2nd overall. Their flares of staunch steadfastness scorched the earth demonstrating their enthusiasm, determination, and accomplishments of working together as a group and attaining their goals. 09/14/2016
GMS Cross Country Meet at Lake Zurich South with Matthews Girls Results Boys Results Please congratulate the cross country team on a thrilling afternoon of intense and competitive running. All boys teams were neck and neck the entire race. Matthews won the race by 1 point against GMS 42 to 43. Congratulate our top 7 runners: Owen Davies, Dylan Clausen, Armen Jerikian, Connor Smith, Jack Larsen, Jovan Perez, and Andrew Larsen. On the girls side, the Kokkin sisters, Grace and Caroline, lit the path on fire and took the top two spots. They were followed by Ashlyn Castagna, Maeva Kleinofen, Ella Grabnik, Brooke Davies, and Olivia Sanborn. The girls team triumphed with 27 points to take first place. Congratulations to all runners. It was their best race ever, and they are ready to bring it to Wauconda on Thursday afternoon. Go Panthers! |
