The Cross Country Panthers burned the competition in the scorching heat in their meet against Barrington Station and Hawthorn South this past Tuesday, 9/26. The girls started the meet off in the sultry conditions and came in first against Barrington Station and 2nd against Hawthorn South.
The clouds rolled in and the temperatures dropped at the start of the boy's race, but that did not cool down their tenacity. The boys came in first against Hawthorn South and came in 2nd against Barrington Station.
Today, the Panthers have a home meet. The meet will start at 4:45 PM with the girls running first. The cross country team will be facing Barrington Station, Lake Zurich North, and Big Hollow.
Sports pictures will take place on Friday, 9/29. Please have your athlete bring their uniform to practice on Friday.
